Attorney Fees

If you are convicted of a drunk driving offense in Wisconsin, in most cases that conviction remains on your driving record abstract for life.  That's a long time.  With that in mind, it makes sense to get the best defense you can afford from an attorney who has your best interests at heart.  Before I take a case, my client will know exactly how much this is going to cost him in attorney fees.  Depending on the location of the stop, the objective of the defense and certain other factors, my fee for a first, second or third offense without injury will usually range from $2200 - $5000.  There are some attorney's whose fees are far above that and some who charge less.  If there is an injury, or if this is a fourth (or subsequent) offense, my fee is more fact dependant and would be discussed during a free case evaluation.  Sometimes there are other minor charges, such as misdemeanors or forfeitures, that were received in connection with the drunk driving charge.  Often I can handle those at no additional fee.
